Executive Coaching

My clients

I help leaders increase their personal impact and unlock the collective power of their teams.

My clients hold senior roles in large, complex organisations. They are frequently at a point in their career where they want to refine how they show up as leaders, becoming more intentional, impactful and aligned with what matters to them. Other clients are reflecting on what the next stage of their career and life will look like.

Often, my clients are stepping up from functional expertise into general management or executive positions and are seeking to redefine how they add value.

Some clients come with a clear change in mind; others just feel that something important needs clarifying. Clients come not because they lack capability, but because they want the time, space and challenge to think clearly and to lead in a way that is both impactful and true to who they are.

Common themes in my work include:

  • Navigating relationships with CEOs, executive peers and boards

  • Managing feedback, reputation and perceived derailers

  • Leading through influence rather than authority

  • Developing confidence and presence at senior levels

  • Clarifying career direction, transitions, and trade-offs

  • Strengthening leadership impact while remaining authentic

My clients value having a trusted thinking partner.  They take their own development seriously, are open to challenge and experimentation, and want to work in a way that is both rigorous and human.

My own experience working at senior leadership levels in the energy sector means that many of my clients come from there, or from related industries such as engineering, manufacturing, construction, shipping and B2B environments. However, what matters more than the specific industry is the level of responsibility and complexity leaders are navigating, and their desire to lead with greater clarity, confidence and intention.

Our work together

A space for reflection

For many leaders, a space to speak openly, without judgement or agenda, is a rare commodity. I act as a thought partner who has no ‘skin in the game’, enabling you to say out loud what matters to you.

Clarifying intentions

I believe the most meaningful change comes not from trying to become someone different, but rather from becoming more fully yourself.  Coaching can clarify intentions and help you get out of your own way.

Navigating organisations

We consider the change you want to make within the context of your current organisation, with its constraints and its opportunities. My background in senior leadership and HR means I have experience of navigating organisational dynamics— power, politics, matrix structures, competing demands — and can help clients think realistically about how they operate within their environments.

Relational dynamics

No man/woman is an island.  Almost every change we want to make involves managing relational dynamics: influencing stakeholders, leading teams and individuals, handling peer relationships.  We work together to consider your impact on others: what is it currently and what would you like it to be?

Karima, CFO

I reached out to Beth at a time when I was asking myself deep questions about my professional direction. My outer confidence didn’t fully match how I felt inside and she immediately understood that without ever invalidating my feelings. That level of accuracy and respect was incredibly important to me and propelled me into my next professional chapter.

Beth has a rare combination of empathy and strength.  She understands you quickly and holistically, not just your career situation but who you are as a person. She holds up a mirror in an active and constructive way - you feel her presence and her commitment to help you succeed but she doesn’t practice ‘echo coaching’, just repeating your words back like a therapist might..  She has a unique blend of honesty, insight and humanity.

Thanks to her, I felt able to make a big professional transition, moving on from a 20-year career in the corporate world to becoming the CFO of a dynamic start-up.

The practicalities

I work both in person and online. The easiest way to see if my approach fits your needs is for us to talk through a specific concern together. A short conversation gives you a clear sense of how I work.
