Coaching Supervision
What happens in supervision?
You will bring one or more client-related issues to discuss in our supervision together.

For example
You feel stuck with a client and you want to unlock the way forward;
You're unsure about how to hold appropriate boundaries with a client;
You're finding it tricky to navigate the 3-way contract with your client and their organization;
You're feeling worn out by the demands of your practice;
You notice a pattern in your coaching which you think is impacting your effectiveness.
Why go to supervision?
Supervision is a reflective practice which supports your continued growth and development as a coach. It's an exploratory dialogue which is commonly understood as having three main purposes:
Restorative
Supporting you and your wellbeing. Coaching can be an emotionally draining experience at times, and supervision is a space where you will feel listened to and supported.
Formative
Continuing to hone your skills as a coach, reflecting on tricky moments with clients, and refining your own approach which sits comfortably with who you want to be as a coach.
Normative
We may consider together the professional norms and codes of practice which guide your coaching practice, or you may bring ethical dilemmas you are encountering.
"Beth has a rare gift for creating space where you can think clearly about what really matters. She doesn't push you towards an answer, she helps you find your own way through the fog."
