Executive Coaching

Working together

I work both in person and virtually. Often, the best way to see if my approach is right for you is for us to have a discussion on a specific concern or issue. I find this to be the most effective way for you to get a sense of how I work.

How I can help you

Creating space

Creating space is at the heart of my work - space to pause, reflect, and begin to think clearly. For many senior leaders, this kind of space to speak openly, without judgment or agenda, is a rare commodity. I act as a thinking partner with no 'skin in the game', enabling clients to explore what truly matters to them.

Clarify thinking

I help clients clarify their thinking, strengthen their sense of agency, and act with greater intentionality. In my experience, meaningful change comes not from becoming someone different, but from getting out of your own way and becoming more fully yourself.

Navigating organisations

While I don’t lead with theory, I draw on practical models when they support insight and action. With a background in senior leadership and HR, I am comfortable navigating organisational realities — power, politics, matrix structures, and competing demands — and I help clients think realistically about how they want to operate within their current environments.

Relational dynamics

I am particularly effective at working with relational dynamics: managing key stakeholders, leading teams, handling peer relationships, and handling the emotional demands that often come with senior roles. Sessions are tailored to each individual and their needs, whether the aim is to clarify goals, test new ways of showing up, rehearse important conversations, or simply make sense of a current situation.

Karima, CFO

I reached out to Beth, someone I had known for a long time, at a moment when I was asking myself deep questions about my professional direction and needed honest, sincere feedback. Working with her felt both safe and energizing from the start.

Beth has a rare combination of empathy and strength. She understands you quickly and holistically, not just your career situation but who you are as a person. At the same time, she brings her own strong character. She doesn’t bend just to please or simply tell you what you want to hear. She tells you the truth with personalised examples where you even learn new things about yourself , and that builds real trust and confidence.

She truly holds up a mirror, in an active and constructive way. What sets her apart is that she doesn’t practice “echo coaching” , just repeating your words back like a therapist might. Instead, she engages, challenges, and contributes. She has real skin in the game and gets genuinely involved. You feel her presence and her commitment to help you succeed. She doesn’t give you standard textbook answers or chores, rather a hands-on support. That unique blend of honesty, insight, and humanity makes her stand out from others.

There were moments when the confidence I projected didn’t fully match how I felt inside and she immediately understood that without ever invalidating my feelings. She got it exactly right. That level of accuracy and respect was incredibly important to me and propelled me with my next professional chapter.

Thanks to her, I was able to carry out a deep professional transition, moving on from the corporate world, where I had spent 20 years to being the CFO of a very dynamic start-up. This personal and professional growth journey is ongoing and never really finished. I am very excited about the next chapters alongside Beth.

My clients

I work with senior leaders who want space to think, reflect and be more deliberate about how they lead.

Many of my clients hold senior roles in large, complex organisations. They are often at a point in their career they want to refine how they show up as leaders, becoming more intentional, impactful and aligned with what matters to them. Others may be reflecting on what the next stage of their career and life will look like.

Often, they are stepping up from functional expertise into general management or executive positions at a point in their career and are seeking to redefine how they add value.

Some come with a clear change in mind; others simply know that something important needs clarifying. Clients come not because they lack capability, but because they want the time, space and challenge to think clearly and to lead in a way that is both impactful and true to who they are.

Common themes in my work include:

  • Navigating relationships with CEOs, executive peers and boards

  • Managing feedback, reputation and perceived derailers

  • Leading through influence rather than authority

  • Developing confidence and presence at senior levels

  • Clarifying career direction, transitions, and trade-offs

  • Strengthening leadership impact while remaining authentic

My clients value having a trusted thinking partner — not a mentor or someone who tells the what to do. They take their own development seriously, are open to challenge and experimentation, and want to work in a way that is both rigorous and human.

My experience working at senior leadership levels in the energy sector means that many of my clients come from related industries such as engineering, manufacturing, construction, shipping and B2B environments. However, what matters more than the specific specific industry is the level of responsibility and complexity leaders are navigating, and their desire to lead with greater clarity, confidence and intention.
